Get independent reviews

Two independent reviews; a third if scores differ or authenticity is unclear.

Keep main judging private

Judges score privately before discussing. Public voting never decides the main result.

Expect possible live verification

The top 10 to 20 percent may get a short live verification call.

Recognize talent beyond winners

Strong builders can be referred to the b54 talent pool even if their project does not win. Results are provisional until integrity checks finish.

Eligibility screening happens before judging. Remove incomplete, inaccessible, clearly copied, out-of-track, or rule-breaking submissions from the scoring queue and record the reason.

Scorecard (100 points)

• Working solution and technical execution — 30 • Problem relevance and likely impact — 25 • Originality — 15 • Usability and demo quality — 15 • Team execution and contribution clarity — 15

Each eligible project should receive two independent reviews. Judges must disclose conflicts and recuse. A third review is required where scores differ materially, a conflict emerges, or authenticity is uncertain. Judges score privately before deliberation. Public voting may support a community award but never the main result.

The top 10–20% may be invited to a short live verification call. Ask builders to explain architecture, tradeoffs, repository history, individual contributions, failures, and what they would do next. A participant can be referred to the b54 talent pool based on technical ownership, reasoning, communication, learning velocity, or leadership even if the project does not win.

Campus Reps may not edit scores or promise outcomes. Results remain provisional until b54 completes integrity checks.
