Check-in and meal redemption are separate controls. A registration is not attendance, and a check-in is not proof that a meal was served.
Check-in
• The participant presents their b54 pass or gives the name or exact email used to register. • The authorized event worker searches and selects the matching registration. • One person is checked in at a time, inside the event window. • Never bulk check in a list, accept a proxy, create a fake registration, or add a person who is not present. • A genuine correction must identify who made it and why; repeated or unusual corrections are audited.
Meal service
• Serve at the designated point and window after confirming the participant is checked in. • Record one meal redemption immediately; do not pre-mark a list. • Organizers, volunteers, mentors, judges, vendors, no-shows, unregistered walk-ins, and second meals are outside b54 reimbursement. • Capture a wide meal-service evidence image or short video with the event code visible, without exposing private attendee records.
The final eligible count is capped by verified redemptions, the itemized invoice quantity, the event’s approved participant limit, and 100—whichever is lowest.
