Planned format

How a Build54 CTF will work

Learn. Solve. Compare.

Planned format

Learn. Solve. Compare.

A planned beginner CTF under Challenges, where teams will practise and solve security tasks within the event’s authorised scope.

Swipe

Practise before competing

An unranked practice area, downloadable tasks, and a beginner orientation will help you prepare.

Stay inside the sandbox

Only listed sandbox hosts and files will be targets; platform attacks, off-team flag sharing, and early public solutions will be prohibited.

Find and submit flags

Your team will solve security tasks to uncover flags and submit each for checking, with each task scoring only once.

Read the scoring rules

Published rules will cover task values, hints, and ties; first blood will earn a badge without extra points.

Know when scores are frozen

A public freeze will hold ranks, points, solves, and activity at one snapshot while private solve feedback continues.

Review, then share your approach

Standings will stay provisional through integrity checks and appeals; walkthroughs will follow the competition.
